Munich

Today we are going to go to one of Germany's big cities, Munich. The drive to Munich was amazing. THe view was amazing. The lake was shining in the sunlight, while the mountains where glistening like a star. In Munich we went to the church's cuckoo clock, the beer house, and the  Viktualienmarkt. We ate lunch while waiting for the cuckoo clock performance at 12:00. Then it was time to go the  cuckoo clock. It was so neat. The robotic people danced, then the knights fought and the gray one lost. After, the bottom of the cuckoo clock the people started dancing until it was time for the bird to cuckoo, cuckoo. It was so nice and amazing to see all the effort the people did to the the cuckoo clock. Next, we walked to the Vikualienmarkt, it's a market that has all kinds of food and flowers It too along time to get there because wet weren't good at orienting the map but we finally got there. Oh the smells were mouth wearing there was hot pretzels,  seafood, smoothies,  burgers and fries and so much more. I was getting really hungry, our parents told us that we weren't getting anything, so we headed to the beer house. 

 So we left and walked to the the beer house where there was beer, food, and drinks. Our parents surprised us with a soda and a pretzel. I got a coco cola and a yummy pretzel. Yummy right I know the glass of coke was really big. After our parents paid we left to go to see the residence. We finally found it my mom wanted to go in but my brother, sister and I weren't interested so we walked and found a huge field. We ate nuts and pretzels while my dad rested, my mom read Harry Potter to my brother,  and Kaija and I did our book reports. Then, my brother had to go to the bathroom so we left, but my bother and my dad disappeared so we went to Starbucks and waited. They finally answered they were in Starbucks. After we all decided it was time to leave, so my parents figured out how to get to our car and we left. Munich was a wonderful city to visit. If you go someday visit this.

The Quest

Hi, last time I posted I was in France. I really enjoyed it because of all the nature, hikes, and beaches. Now I am in Germany! 

My parents gave us a list of things to go around town and take pictures of. On the list there were things like  a pic of a pet, slug, and your favorite sign. I thought it was hard because you had to talk to people and go around town and I was nervous being in a town that spoke a diffrent language.  

 First, I went around with my sister. We argued, but we manage to find some things. We came back to our apartment and then my mom, sister and I went looking for more stuff. After a while we all got tired so went back to the apartment.  I didn't find  everything  on the list. Neither did my sister, but my brother did. He won because he found everything, and he didn't argue or fuss.

 His prize was ICE-CREAM! I was jealous but I know he won fair and square. It was a learning experience that was fun and awesome. Here's what I found just scroll down and you'll see pics. Till then cheers!

Trier

Today we went to Trier.  In Trier we were going to go on the hop on and hop off bus. Before we went on the bus we went pass the black gate, also known as the Port de Nigra. We went and walked to the hop on bus stop. We sat on the bus until it was time to get off. 

The first stop was the Roman thermal baths. It was amazing, There were many places where you could identify what was there. After that we went back on the bus and ate lunch. When we were done we were at the next stop the amphitheater. My dad loved it the most. You could hear whispers that echoed from the bottom to the top.  It was really entertaining!  Next, we got off at a different Roman thermal baths. It was very interesting to explore. In the dark places it was very cool and nice. Next, to the baths was a church. We went in and looked around, and we walked to the stop to get back to Port de Nigra. 

It was a hot day out so we got icecream. I ate pineapple and lemon. It was scrumptious and tasted very sour! Then while we ate our ice cream we walked in the town market. It was awesome to see the diffrent shops. Also there were fruits and veggies to buy. It was 5:30 so we went to the Cathedral by the market and we explored its wonders. Finally, it was time to go home so we got a quick yummy snack and headed to our car to leave. I had a spectacular day!
